My name is Steve Sanders. I live in New Jersey, USA. My mother’s family name was Kleck. My great grandfather, Johann Kleck (Klek, Klegg, Glegg, Glöckh, Glökh) emigrated from Inneringen in 1846 with his wife, Viktoria Failer Kleck, and their son. They arrived in Texas three months later and settled in the Texas Hill Country hear Fredericksburg, Texas. I have searched my German family back to 1600 through church records in Inneringen to Christoph Kleck born in 1628.
I am looking for cousins in the area. I know it will be difficult to find relatives since my family left so long ago. I can provide more information about my family that lived in the area in 1845.
